Internship opportunity to apply Large Language Models and AI tools in real-world business problems at Philips, a leading HealthTech company.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
• Explore and apply Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT for business problems, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and output evaluation.
• Leverage Copilot Studio to build, test, and deploy AI-powered assistants to enhance productivity and insights.
• Develop and optimize Python-based workflows for AI-driven data analysis, automation, and business intelligence.
• Mine internal and external data sources to train, test, and validate AI models ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Translate complex AI and data findings into clear, actionable insights to inform decision-making.
• Create dashboards, visualizations, and prototypes using Power BI or custom tools to showcase AI-enhanced recommendations.
About You
The company is looking for:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or AI/ML.
• Skilled in Python (or R) with knowledge of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
• Familiarity with LLMs, NLP, or generative AI applications, especially ChatGPT and Copilot Studio.
• Experience with prompt engineering to improve AI/LLM performance is strongly preferred.
• Experience using modern BI tools, preferably Power BI, to communicate data-driven insights.
• Ability to meet minimum physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
Compensation & Benefits
• Paid internship for 3 months.
• Hourly pay range in Massachusetts: Bachelor Level $26–30/hour, Master’s Level $33–46/hour, plus overtime eligible.
• Hourly pay range in Tennessee: Bachelor Level $21–24/hour, Master’s Level $30–40/hour, plus overtime eligible.
• Actual pay varies based on knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, location, and internal equity.
