Job Description

About the Role:
We are looking for a mid-level Data Scientist with strong machine learning expertise to join our growing AI & Analytics team. As a Data Scientist II, you will play a key role in developing, deploying, and scaling machine learning models to solve real-world business challenges. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and product managers to transform data into actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models for classification, regression, recommendation, or clustering problems
  • Conduct data wrangling, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis on structured and unstructured datasets
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build pipelines and deploy models into production environments (batch or real-time)
  • Track and monitor model performance and ensure ongoing accuracy and fairness
  • Contribute to A/B testing design, causal inference studies, or other model validation efforts
  • Present technical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in ML and AI

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in data science or applied machine learning
  • Proficiency in Python and relevant ML libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, XGBoost, LightGBM, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of statistical modeling, supervised/unsupervised learning, and model evaluation techniques
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data querying from relational databases or data warehouses
  • Experience working with Git, Jupyter notebooks, and ML workflow tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools like MLflow, SageMaker, Kubeflow, or Airflow
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to NLP, time-series forecasting, or recommendation systems
  • Ability to work in agile environments and cross-functional teams
