Join Motorola Solutions as a Data Scientist Intern to analyze large data sets, build models, and support safer communities through innovative technology.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:
• Discovering and extracting actionable business insights from vast data sets
• Finding opportunities for tools suite and process optimization
• Building and implementing models, using machine learning algorithms, and creating/running simulations
• Working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams
• Presenting work to the leadership team at the end of the internship

About You

The company is looking for:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or an IT-related field
• Knowledge of Python with experience in data extraction, analysis, integration, and interpretation
• Experience with databases such as Postgres, Redshift, MSSQL
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting, with ability to tune SQL queries for high performance
• Familiarity with AWS environment
• Experience reading data from multiple sources, cleansing, enhancing, and analyzing data
• Highly skilled, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality

Compensation & Benefits
• Target hourly base salary range: $20.70 – $24.10 USD
• Pay varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
• Less than 10% travel required
• No relocation provided
