Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Data Scientist to join a dynamic team at a leading technology company’s U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex datasets, build machine learning models, and deliver impactful AI-driven solutions that influence products and business strategy.

🔹 What You’ll Do
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and insights
• Design, implement, and optimize predictive machine learning models
• Build and automate data pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into business value
• Create compelling visualizations and reports to communicate findings
• Support model deployment and monitor performance in production

🔹 Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field (CS, Engineering, Math, Physics, etc.)
• 1+ year of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, or R
• Experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Solid understanding of statistics and data analysis techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

🔹 Nice to Have
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, or distributed computing (Spark, Dask)
• Knowledge of NLP, deep learning, or time-series modeling
• Familiarity with A/B testing and causal inference
• Experience with unstructured data (text, images, audio)
