About the Role

As a Data Science Intern at Beli, you’ll work with one of the world’s largest restaurant and dining datasets to generate insights that directly influence product strategy and user experience. You’ll collaborate closely with the CTO, CEO, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment, helping shape features, retention initiatives, and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Explore & Analyze: Investigate user and restaurant data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Derive Insights: Perform exploratory analysis and provide data-driven recommendations for product and business decisions.
  • Visualize & Communicate: Create dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experiment & Evaluate: Design and analyze experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to measure product impact.
  • Collaborate & Present: Share findings with product, engineering, and leadership teams to inform strategy.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., pandas, matplotlib, Tableau, Looker).
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills with experience handling large datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with curiosity about user behavior and product growth.
