What These Roles Involve

You will work at the forefront of data center innovation, contributing to advanced facilities that enable cloud computing, AI, and enterprise digital transformation. These roles combine technical expertise, operational excellence, and project leadership in environments where reliability is essential.

Data Center Systems Management

  • Manage HVAC, electrical power distribution, UPS, generators, fire/life safety, and security systems
  • Execute commissioning processes aligned with ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED standards
  • Conduct testing of power, cooling, and automation systems
  • Perform electrical studies including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, and arc flash analysis

Project Leadership & Commissioning

  • Lead commissioning and infrastructure validation from design through energization
  • Manage projects across pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases
  • Develop commissioning plans, test scripts, and technical specifications
  • Coordinate stakeholders including clients, contractors, and utilities

Technical Documentation & Analysis

  • Utilize tools such as ETAP, SKM Power*Tools, PSCAD, PSSE, and facility platforms (Corrigo, MCIM, Salesforce, ServiceNow)
  • Create commissioning reports, SOPs, and operational documentation
  • Review engineering designs and ensure compliance
  • Support CAPEX and OPEX planning

Team Leadership & Client Engagement

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and contractors
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance
  • Maintain strong client relationships
  • Support business development initiatives

Field Operations & Quality Assurance

  • Conduct site visits, start-up tests, and functional performance testing
  • Troubleshoot complex systems and perform root-cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Maintain quality assurance across project lifecycles

Candidate Profile

Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC&R, and building management systems
  • Experience with data center testing equipment and power modeling software
  • Understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements

Core Competencies

  • Leadership and project management skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility management platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified Data Centre Facilities Expert (CDCFE)
  • Certified Mission Critical Operations (CMCO)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
  • Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP)

Work Environment & Travel

  • Locations across major U.S. data center markets including Northern Virginia, Silicon Valley, Phoenix, Dallas, and Chicago
  • Travel opportunities across major data center hubs
