Amazon Web Services (AWS), part of Amazon, is seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to join its Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team within Amazon Dedicated Cloud.

📍 Location: Warrenton, Virginia, USA
🔐 Requirement: US Citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance (polygraph)
💼 Experience: Data Center / Critical Infrastructure Project Management
🎓 Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field

🚀 Role Overview

The CPI team manages complex infrastructure improvement projects inside operational AWS data centers worldwide. As a Project Manager, you will oversee electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines to optimize power, cooling, space utilization, and reliability.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of critical infrastructure projects
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, controls, and construction teams
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Review engineering designs and identify improvement opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory codes
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams globally
• Drive innovative solutions to operational challenges
• Maintain alignment with business strategy and customer needs

✅ Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related)
• Experience deploying new technical concepts into production environments
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Experience with power monitoring and management systems

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years project management in data centers or critical infrastructure
• Strong understanding of data center electrical & mechanical systems
• Knowledge of building codes (NFPA, NEC, OSHA, etc.)
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and construction specs
• Background in Data Center Engineering Operations

💰 Salary & Benefits

💵 Base Salary: $109,700 – $183,300 per year + RSUs + sign-on bonus
