🚀 Position Overview

The Data Center Facility Manager will serve as both a technical leader and operations manager, responsible for maintaining the availability, reliability, and efficiency of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems inside AWS data centers.

This role ensures 99.999% uptime for mission-critical infrastructure supporting global cloud services.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee critical physical infrastructure across the data center
• Manage 24×7 engineering technician teams and career development
• Lead improvement and optimization projects end-to-end
• Coordinate with vendors and ensure SLA compliance
• Manage operational budgets and cost efficiency
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems hands-on
• Serve as on-call escalation manager for incidents
• Ensure high reliability with minimal operational impact

⚙️ Systems You’ll Work With

Electrical:
✔ Diesel generators & fuel systems
✔ UPS, PDUs, switchgear, 3-phase systems
✔ Batteries and power distribution

Mechanical:
✔ CRAC units & HVAC systems
✔ Chillers & cooling towers
✔ Pumps, motors & air handlers

Other Infrastructure:
✔ Fire suppression systems
✔ Building automation systems
✔ General facilities equipment
