Amazon Web Services (AWS), part of Amazon, is looking for an experienced Data Center Facility Manager to lead mission-critical infrastructure operations and technical teams supporting some of the world’s most advanced cloud data centers.
📍 Location: Canton, Mississippi, USA
💰 Salary Range: $119,400 – $178,300 per year + Sign-On Bonus + RSUs

🔧 Role Overview
As a Facility Manager, you will oversee the critical physical infrastructure of AWS data centers, ensuring maximum uptime, operational excellence, and safety compliance while managing teams of technicians and vendors in a 24×7 environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities
• Oversee operations of electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAC, AHU, etc.)
• Lead and manage on-site engineering teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Maintain SLAs, KPIs, and operational performance standards
• Drive safety culture and regulatory compliance
• Manage facility budgets and operational costs
• Act as escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents
• Lead improvement projects and efficiency initiatives
• Support new facility build-outs and expansions
🛠 Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years engineering experience managing large-scale services
• 2+ years people management experience
• Experience owning mission-critical operations or products
• High school diploma or equivalent

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
• 5+ years data center facility operations experience
• 3+ years management role with 5+ direct reports
• Deep knowledge of power and cooling infrastructure systems
