Amazon Web Services (AWS), part of Amazon, is looking for a skilled Data Center Controls Technician to join their Global Controls team. This role focuses on installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission-critical control systems within advanced cloud data centers.

📍 Role: Data Center Controls Technician
🏢 Company: AWS Infrastructure / Global Controls
💼 Experience: 1+ year (Controls / Electrical / Mechanical / Data Center)
🎓 Education: Technical Diploma / Associate Degree / Engineering Degree (preferred)

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
• Troubleshoot programming, controllers, and hardware systems
• Perform commissioning, diagnostics, and root cause analysis
• Install, configure, and calibrate sensors and field devices
• Support provisioning of servers, controllers, and industrial PCs
• Mentor facilities team members on system operation
• Supervise low-voltage contractors and ensure compliance with AWS standards
• Manage small to medium technical projects and documentation
• Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response

🛠 Required Skills

• Experience with mission-critical electrical or mechanical systems
• Knowledge of industrial controls, sensors, and automation systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control panel drawings
• Basic networking and low-voltage cabling knowledge
• Troubleshooting of controllers and I/O signals

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• ISA Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) certification
• Experience in data center or mission-critical environments
