Job Description

Support U.S. Hunger’s mission by generating food insecurity statistics and analytics, developing Tableau reports, and collaborating with the Technology and Data Solutions Team.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:
• Troubleshoot and improve existing reports for performance, accuracy, and clarity.
• Work with the Client Experience Manager and Data & Research Writer to generate insights on food insecurity trends and program impact.
• Conduct research to identify trends and produce data-driven recommendations.
• Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to extract and analyze data from SQL Server Enterprise databases.
• Optimize queries for performance and efficiency to ensure timely and accurate data availability.
• Conduct exploratory data research to identify trends and interpret datasets.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborative projects to develop skills in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.

About You

The company is looking for:
• Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience working with databases, preferably SQL Server.
• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a data-driven environment.

Training & Development
• Participation in team meetings and collaborative projects to develop data analysis, reporting, and visualization skills.
