About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analytics Engineer to bridge the gap between raw data and business insights. In this role, you’ll design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines and analytics-ready data models that empower teams across the organization to make data-driven decisions. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering and analytics, focusing on scalable solutions that ensure accuracy, efficiency, and performance in data workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using tools like dbt, Airflow, or similar
- Transform raw data from multiple sources into clean, reliable, analytics-ready datasets
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business teams to understand data needs and translate them into data models
- Manage and optimize data warehouse environments (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Maintain data quality through validation, monitoring, and governance best practices
- Support and automate reporting and dashboard solutions in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
- Contribute to data architecture decisions and advocate for best practices in code, documentation, and data standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence development
- Strong SQL skills and experience building dimensional data models for reporting
- Proficiency in Python (or similar scripting language) for data transformation and automation
- Experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data warehouse technologies
- Understanding of analytics use cases and a desire to enable better data decision-making
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Git, CI/CD workflows, and collaborative development environments
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance best practices
- Exposure to data cataloging, lineage tracking, and observability tools (e.g., Monte Carlo, DataHub)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management methodologies
