Key Responsibilities
- Ingest, clean, and prepare datasets from multiple sources (CSV files, databases, APIs).
- Build dashboards and automated reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
- Write basic to intermediate SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) using Excel and Python/R to identify trends and insights.
- Create clear visualizations and executive-ready presentations.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to solve business problems.
- Document data definitions, logic, and methodologies for accuracy and reproducibility.
- Support A/B testing, cohort analysis, and funnel analysis under senior analyst guidance.
- Follow data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
- Continuously upskill through internal training and self-learning initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Commerce, or related fields.
- Strong foundation in Excel / Google Sheets (pivots, lookups, formulas, charts).
- Working knowledge of SQL (SELECT, JOINs, GROUP BY; window functions are a plus).
- Familiarity with Python (pandas, NumPy) or R for data analysis.
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts (mean, median, correlation, hypothesis testing).
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Experience
- 0–2 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or certifications accepted).
- Final-year students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- GitHub, Kaggle projects, hackathons, or analytics certifications are a plus.
Working Hours & Model
- 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM IST, Monday to Friday
- Hybrid work model: 2–3 days in-office per week (team/city dependent)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge
- Basics of relational databases and ETL/ELT concepts
- Introductory regression or clustering (nice to have)
- Awareness of business metrics like CAC, LTV, churn, conversion rates
Skills
- Data wrangling, visualization, and storytelling
- Translating business questions into analytical solutions
- Version control (Git) familiarity is an advantage
