We’re looking for a Backend Java Developer to join a product engineering team for a leading U.S. real estate technology client. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Java 1.8, Hibernate 3, and DropWizard 0.8.
  • Support and enhance frontend components built with AngularJS 1.
  • Maintain, refactor, and optimize features while ensuring system reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and technical leadership in an Agile environment.
  • Contribute to production systems under mentorship and guidance.

Required Skills

  • Strong Java development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with DropWizard.
  • Solid understanding of Hibernate, REST APIs, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with frontend maintenance using AngularJS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, independence, and ownership mindset.
  • High motivation, curiosity, and collaborative attitude.
