Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to support and enhance enterprise applications within a servicing-focused environment. This role will primarily focus on backend Java development and REST API services, working alongside QA, frontend channel partners, and digital teams.

Most applications are vendor-based, and the primary responsibility is to build, enhance, and support backend services deployed in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with some exposure to AWS.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Strong Java backend development experience
  • Extensive experience building RESTful APIs
  • Proficiency with JSON
  • Experience with Git / GitHub
  • Experience using Jenkins for builds and deployments
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot)
  • Experience using Eclipse IDE
  • Exposure to Kafka
  • Cloud experience — GCP preferred (AWS experience is a plus)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Maven
  • Additional AWS cloud exposure
  • Prior experience working with vendor-based enterprise systems
