Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Freelancer) with 6–8 years of experience to join a short-term project engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development skills, experience handling large-scale data systems, and hands-on expertise with AWS services.

This role is suited for someone who can quickly understand complex systems, improve backend performance, and contribute to stabilizing and optimizing production environments.

Role Overview

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will work closely with the project team to design, build, and optimize backend services. You will be responsible for creating scalable APIs, improving database performance, and leveraging AWS tools to support high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and improve backend architecture and system design
• Develop and maintain custom APIs
• Optimize database queries for fast and efficient data retrieval
• Work with AWS cloud services to support backend infrastructure

• Troubleshoot backend issues and improve reliability

Required Qualifications

• 6–8 years of backend development experience
• Strong experience working with large-scale data systems

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of scalable backend architectures
