American Airlines, a global leader in aviation, is seeking an Assistant Manager – Consumer & Marketing Insights (Online) to join our team. In this role, you will analyze online consumer behavior, monitor market trends, and generate actionable insights that drive data-driven marketing strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the online customer experience, improve engagement, and support business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of online consumer behavior, including website traffic, user engagement, and conversion rates.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Partner with marketing, digital, and e-commerce teams to design and implement data-driven strategies.
- Generate actionable insights and recommendations from analytics and research.
- Present findings to senior management and key stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and execute consumer research projects to understand preferences and behavior.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in marketing research, consumer insights, or data analytics, with a focus on online/digital channels.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Proven track record of driving business results through insights-driven decisions.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in marketing research, consumer insights, or data analytics, preferably in the airline or travel industry.
Working Hours
- Full-time position with standard office hours.
