Amazon is hiring Packing & Shifting Associates to ensure products are packed securely, handled carefully, and efficiently moved within our warehouses. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently pack products using appropriate materials to prevent damage.
  • Assist in shifting operations within the warehouse, ensuring items are stored correctly.
  • Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met before packing.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members and departments to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain accurate records of packing, shifting, and inventory activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse operations or logistics is a plus.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in packing and inventory management.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse tools and equipment; ability to use packaging machinery is a plus.

Experience

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, packing, or logistics environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills is a plus.
  • Training will be provided for all new associates.

Working Hours

  • Full-time positions with flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Standard shifts: 8–10 hours per day, 5 days a week.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of packing procedures, safety protocols, and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery and handle products carefully.
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
