Job Description

About the internship:
This internship is an e-commerce management related job role where primarily Amazon, Flipkart seller portal management is expected of you. It will start initially with assisting in researching profitable products, adding new products to the online store, updating product descriptions, and managing inventory levels and liasoning with warehouse staff for dispatch.

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Product research and finding profitable products to launch in market baseed on research tools like blackbox.

2. Building a business from scratch. Paperwork sign up and starting a new account and setting up business

3. Data analysis: Analyzing sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

4. Order fulfillment: Assisting in processing orders, coordinating shipments, and managing returns or exchanges efficiently.

5. Platform maintenance: Supporting the maintenance and optimization of the e-commerce platform, including updates, security patches, and performance enhancements.

6. Market research: Conducting research on competitors, industry trends, and consumer preferences to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities for growth.

7. Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, and IT to coordinate efforts and achieve business objectives.

8. Content creation: Helping create engaging content for product listings, including images, videos, and descriptions, to attract and inform customers.

Stipend:
INR₹ 1,000 – 10,000 /month

Other Requirements:

1. Preferably someone with 3- 4 hours of fixed time to spend everyday between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

2. Has built a succesfull e-commerce business for other sellers in the past and can take projects head on with confidence to deliver results.

3. Is willing to work with us part time and learn on the go.

4. Is a well-seasoned e-commerce business developer with real-world knowledge of applications of the different e-commerce marketplaces.

5. Can talk to the business owners and transcribe the business requirement into what must be done in e-commerce to maximise monthly revenue and increase profit margins.

• Note: The selection committee schedule:

1. First round: A recorded interview via a Google form will be shared through Internshala messages.

2. Second round: An interview will be conducted directly with the HR or the founder.

3. Evaluation period: If selected, the first 1-2 weeks will involve testing your knowledge and providing basic training your ability to work, create end products, and meet expectations confidently will be assessed, and upon satisfactory performance, you will be officially assigned the role, and your work offer will be provided.

Note: Training period duration – first 2 weeks (paid).

Pay structure: Working 1 hour daily on all working days earns INR 1,000 per month and working 10 hours daily earns INR 10,000 per month.
