Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is looking for a dedicated Accounts Assistant with strong Tally ERP skills and a commerce background. This role is ideal for recent B.Com graduates eager to launch their career in accounting and finance. You will support daily accounting operations, manage financial documentation, and ensure accurate bookkeeping while learning from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily financial records and entries in Tally ERP.
  • Assist with invoice preparation, billing, and payment tracking.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage the cashbook.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
  • Prepare GST filings and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Organize financial documentation for audits.
  • Handle petty cash management and vendor payments.
  • Collaborate with the senior accountant and finance team on budgeting and reporting tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent) – mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP (Tally Prime preferred).
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Experience

  • 0–2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
  • Freshers with strong Tally knowledge and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Saturday
  • 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Occasional extended hours during month-end or audit season may be required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong grasp of general ledger functions and accounting cycle.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance is an added advantage.
  • Commitment to accuracy and continuous process improvement.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic finance team.
