About the Role
Amazon’s Communications & Corporate Responsibility (CCR) organization is seeking undergraduate students for a rewarding, paid 12-week summer internship. This role is ideal for students with a passion for corporate communications, public relations, messaging strategy, social media, and employee communications, and who want hands-on experience delivering communications at a global scale.
During the internship, you will:
- Collaborate with media/journalists and analyze news coverage.
- Write company communications and develop content for Amazon news channels (e.g., aboutamazon.com) and social media (e.g., @insideamazon).
- Draft communication strategies and support company events.
- Lead one or more communication projects and present your learnings and recommendations to CCR leaders.
- Build relationships with fellow interns, tenured communications professionals, and CCR leaders worldwide.
CCR’s mission: Educate the world about Amazon’s products, culture, services, and community initiatives while strengthening Amazon’s reputation and trust globally.
Eligibility Requirements
- Graduation from a Bachelor’s degree program between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Ability to relocate to Culver City, CA or Seattle, WA (relocation assistance provided if eligible).
- Availability to complete a 12-week internship between May–August 2026.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Basic Qualifications
- Enrolled in a communications, journalism, public relations, English, electronic/digital media, or similar bachelor’s program.
- Availability to work 40 hours/week during the 12-week internship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and seniority levels.
- Motivated self-starter who works well independently.
- Strong academic, leadership, and/or extracurricular record.
- Previous work, internship, or leadership experience in communications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay ranges from $51,700 to $110,500/year depending on geographic market.
