- Company Name : Nano.com
- Employment type : Full–time
- Experience : 4+ years
- Salary : $40 to $50 Hourly
- Location : Remote Option Available
- Work Schedule : 5 Days a Week
Nano.com Overview:
Nano.com is building AI for the rest of us. We’re turning AI into something normal people can use every day to hit their goals – not a toy or a tech demo.
We’re a small, product-obsessed team working on a new category: a membership that gives you AI “employees” to help you achieve more, with less friction, and with real guarantees on outcomes.
If you love beautiful interfaces, fast iteration, and shipping things that actually get used, you’ll feel at home here.
Location:
Las Vegas, NV (strong preference for local / relocation support possible)
The Role:
We’re looking for a hybrid Frontend Developer + Product Designer who can own the experience end-to-end: from first Figma sketch to polished, production-ready UI.
You’ll be the person who makes Nano feel effortless, delightful, and “of course it works like that”.
You’ll:
- Own core user-facing surfaces: marketing pages, onboarding, dashboards, and in-app flows.
- Design and implement: from Figma to high-quality, responsive React/Next.js components.
- Shape our visual language, design system, and component library as a founding design/UX presence.
- Collaborate directly with the founder and engineers to translate vague ideas into shippable product.
- Prototype quickly (lo-fi to hi-fi) and validate concepts with users.
- Sweat the details: motion, transitions, empty states, microcopy, responsiveness, accessibility.
- Help define and measure UX success: activation, retention, task completion, “time to wow”.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves both craft and speed.
What you’ll do (day-to-day):
- Take product ideas from notion → wireframe → visual design → production code.
- Build and maintain front-end architecture using modern frameworks (ideally React + Next.js + Tailwind, Typescript, or similar).
- Evolve a consistent design system (tokens, components, patterns) across web and PWA.
- Implement polished interactions: smooth page transitions, modals, toasts, and subtle animations that don’t slow the app down.
- Own the quality bar: browser testing, performance optimizations, responsive breakpoints, and accessibility best practices.
- Partner with engineering to connect your UI to real data and AI workflows.
- Iterate constantly based on user feedback, analytics, and experiments.
You might be a fit if…
- You’re equally comfortable in Figma and in a code editor.
- You’ve shipped full flows yourself – not just static designs or small UI tweaks.
- You care about typography, spacing, and hierarchy as much as you care about clean, maintainable code.
- You’d rather ship and iterate than polish something in isolation for months.
- You like being in the room where product decisions happen, not receiving specs “from above”.
- You’re excited by AI and curious about how to make it usable for non-technical people.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in frontend development, including production React (or similar) apps.
- 2+ years of hands-on product/UX design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
- Proficiency with Figma (or equivalent) for component-based design and prototyping.
- Strong skills in modern frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive layouts.
- Experience with at least one modern stack: Next.js, Remix, Vite, Tailwind, or comparable tools.
- Experience with AI products, conversational interfaces, WebRTC and Websockets connections, and multi-step workflows.
- A portfolio or live links showing both:
- Crafted UI/UX and visual design.
- Real frontends you’ve implemented yourself.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Las Vegas, NV (or able to be in person regularly).
Nice to have:
- Motion/interaction design skills (Framer, Lottie, CSS animations, etc).
- Experience building design systems from scratch or contributing to one at scale.
- Comfort with basic backend concepts (APIs, auth, data fetching) so you can collaborate closely with engineers.
- Prior early-stage startup or founding team experience.
How we work:
- Super heavy AI usage to 10x our output.
- Ship multiple times a week with Friday demos.
- Maker time protected most days for deep work.
- Extremely rapid pivots. Market signals, we listen.
- We document decisions briefly; fewer, better meetings.
What We Offer:
- A chance to shape the look and feel of the entire product from the ground up.
- Direct collaboration with the founder and core team – very low bureaucracy, very high impact.
- Competitive compensation (salary + meaningful upside).
- Flexible hybrid schedule with strong preference for Vegas-based team members.
- Opportunity to help define a new category of AI-powered products.
- Opportunity to build a breakthrough product from scratch with no technical debt.
- A key voice in shaping the company’s culture, vision, and technical direction.
- Significant compensation & upside opportunity:
- Signing bonus package (cash & gifts)
- Las Vegas relocation bonus (or cash equivalent if local)
- Competitive base salary plus sizable performance bonus potential
- Health insurance (100% Employer Paid Premiums)
- Potential for generous stock options and/or cash upside
- A calm, high‑trust environment aimed at real impact and innovation.
- Massive professional growth and development opportunities.
- An epic story others will ask you about for the rest of your life.
